For almost 30 years, Rachel has been in leadership and mentorship roles with youth and young adults. In her twenties she was a High School teacher. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Northridge, and completed her California Teaching Credential from California Lutheran University, Thousand Oaks.
Rachel has a heart to bring hope to the next generation, leading them to their God given purpose and future. As she stepped into various roles in ministry for over 20 years, Rachel had the opportunity to mentor dozens of youth and young adults. She also created and launched a college ministry, which included building and discipling ministry teams.
Additionally, Rachel has spoken at events all over the globe, empowering the younger generation with wisdom, leadership tools, and emotional/spiritual healing. She teaches young people how to instill healthy core values, life skills, and attainable goals into their lives.
Having a strong desire to see the lives of youth transformed through a camp experience, Rachel founded and launched a non-profit organization called Summit Outdoor Stations, INC. in 2008, along with her husband, Peter. As Founder and Camp Director, Rachel wore many hats including Board Member, Staffing Director, Marketing and Business Development Director, as well as Program Director. Rachel’s testimony, coupled with the lives she saw impacted, during the ten years at The Station, led her to writing her first book which will be released in 2023.

Peter Bowman is a business and ministry leader with decades of experience. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Business, Management Information Systems from California State University, Northridge, CA. Having held the role of Chief Information Officer for several corporations, Peter specializes in optimizing technological processes. This expertise led him to co-found his software corporation, Flueid Software Corp., where he currently acts as the Chief Executive Officer.
Peter is responsible for multi-million dollar budgets. He is a strategic visionary; translating ideas into tangible business processes. Additionally, he has over 20 years of experience in mentoring youth and young adults. Peter has come alongside dozens of young people, in both business and ministry arenas. Alongwith his wife, Rachel, he founded and funded Summit Outdoor Stations Inc. in 2008. During its ten year run, The Station Camp served thousands of people, impacting countless lives. Peter’s passion to see dreams move from an idea to a tangible reality, has led him and Rachel to provide resources for the next generation.
